PFF Expands National Women’s Championship Participation to Advance Pakistani Football

The National Women’s Football Club Championship 2024 application procedure is now open, according to the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). The event’s preliminary group stage matches are scheduled to take place in Islamabad, Quetta, Lahore, and Karachi, the four largest cities.
The clubs that have registered with Pakistan Football Connect (PFC) have already received invitations, and the confirmation papers can be shared with hussain.pff@gmail.com and qjamshaid.pff@gmail.com.
July 9, 2024, is the deadline for PFC recognized clubs to submit their entries for the National Women’s Football Club Championship.
The first schedule for the group stage will be made public after the competing teams have confirmed their participation. Furthermore, a safeguarding session is scheduled to guarantee the security and welfare of every participant.
Because FIFA did not provide financing to the Pakistan Football Federation, the women’s team did not play in any international matches following those remarkable results.
The National Women’s Championship was originally scheduled for 2021, however it was abruptly called off after former PFF Chairman Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah attacked the PFF office.
Given that they lack a legitimate domestic league in which to refine their talents, the National Women’s Championship may be a breath of new air for the national women’s squad.
