Meet Ather Zahid Who Wins WrestleMax 3 Championship

For the first time, Ather Zahid-28 will square up against his Indian opponent in a major competition. He will compete in the Karachi competition Orbit, where he will make his championship defence. Coach Kalisto, a former WWE US Champion, is one of the team’s most important members. Kalisto’s WWE tenure has given him a wealth of technical wrestling skills and experience.

There are several difficulties in competing against Indian wrestlers, including their proficiency in classical wrestling forms such as Kushti and their emphasis on stamina and physical fitness.

He intended to study and comprehend Indian traditional wrestling tactics, like Kushti, improve his own physical stamina and conditioning, and modify his approach to counter their grappling expertise in order to conquer the distinctive styles and techniques of Indian wrestlers.

He explained his interest in wrestling by saying, “Basically, back when VCR cassettes were in use, my father used to watch wrestling.” Since I was a young child, I have been fascinated in wrestling. My fascination in wrestling grew into a desire to become a wrestler because we watched it on TV like it was a festival every time.

In response to a query concerning his early years, Ather stated that he was born in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, and that his family moved to Dammam when he was ten years old. He attended Monadi Al Khaleej International School in Dammam. He was well-liked by both educators and pupils for his on-campus brawls.

Likings

Speaking about his early wrestling influences, he stated, “When I was younger, Shawn Michaels was my idol. His matches gave me the drive and inspiration to follow my aspirations of becoming a professional wrestler.

He continued, “It feels great; after putting in so much work and making so many sacrifices, being a champion is an amazing feeling.” I had a mixture of immense happiness, fulfilment, and a sense of success when I eventually took home the title. I wasn’t completely conscious when the referee gave me the championship when I won it. I kept having flashbacks to everything that had happened to me until that point. Every sacrifice, every obstacle, and every victory along the road flashed before my eyes in a bizarre kind of a flashback.Aside from wrestling, he enjoys travelling, swimming, watching films, and living life to the fullest.

Exercise

We question his training regimen before a big match against Indian wrestlers. Prioritising strength training, endurance workouts, and flexibility drills specific to wrestling movements, Ather stated that he first studies the histories and methods of well-known Indian wrestlers in order to comprehend their advantages and tactics.

“I’ve dedicated time to drilling key wrestling techniques that include single-leg and double-leg attacks, various types of leaves, and effective pinning combinations,” Ather remarked when asked about the specific training methods he had concentrated on for this event. Development of strategies, flexibility and mobility, and strength and conditioning

This includes consuming 350 grammes of protein, 450 grammes of carbohydrates, and 100 grammes of lipids through foods like protein drinks, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, almonds, avocado, and olive oil, as well as supplements. One kilogramme of chicken breast and twenty eggs were also included in this.

He stated, “I follow a structured exercising schedule, work alongside my coach and mentors for advice, and prioritise recovery & rest to ensure top performance and injury prevention” as a way to balance the mental and physical parts of training.

Obstacles

He stated, “Backstage politics, it has been a first and learning experience for me,” about gaming issues. The chances available to professional wrestlers are influenced by rivalries and tensions that frequently transcend the ring. In order to overcome these obstacles, I must continue to perform professionally and give my all regardless of the outside circumstances.

He responded, “I just wanna say to my fans your unwavering support fuels my determination to overcome any obstacles,” to a query concerning fan support. When we band together, we can overcome any hardship.

In important wrestling competitions, I was wrestling on behalf of my nation. Wrestling is a sport that requires constant improvement, thus it must be done. My objective is to continuously improve both my technical proficiency and physical fitness. My long-term objectives in wrestling are centred on improving myself, the sport, and wrestling overall.
