How does technology impact on students learning?
Technology is constantly moving forward the way we work. New features are integrating with the technology from webinar sessions to android development, technology is also creating game-changing opportunities in the world of education.
For teachers, technology is opening up new opportunities to enrich and motivate young minds. Nowadays, there is emergent anticipation around the potential for assistive technology. There is no accessibility of technology in Sindh due to some challenges are facing by teachers and parents: availability of resources, computer/tablets/ shortage of electricity / mobile phone/internet connectivity facilities in remote areas of Sindh. It was previously said the technology could have benefits to execute emergency procedures to resurface. However, technology is being introduced and teacher’s training is one of the components where selected teachers are attending webinar sessions. Doubtless, there will be some challenges but those can be overcome. The first introduction and implementation of technology especially in COVID-19 time.
Pakistan is facing an unpredictable situation and owing to COVID-19 Situation , Pakistan has no choice but to enforce School lockdown so as to ensure protection. Closure of schools during lockdown has in turn lead to some adverse effects. The stoppage of physical classrooms has encouraged SELDApp Learning for primary grade students.
SABAQ Pakistan has launched SELD App and several lessons and exercises for science, math and other subjects for students from kindergarten up to grade five are available on the app.

The lessons are available in English, Urdu and Sindhi languages. Miraculously, SABAQ Pakistan has provided 02 tablets in three district of Sindh Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, and TandoAllahyar. All teachers are familiar to usage of application and it is offline supported application. SABAQ is Karachi based organization and working for education technology. Through SELD Application, students will be able to access a wide array of localized and multimedia lessons that will also be free. Subjects ranging from science and mathematics and animated videos are available. Creating education environment it is quite difficult but not impossible, students are being engaged in different activities and teaching through and teachers are playing their role being a champions of change. Furthermore, teachers’ engagement activities are growing and ongoing support has been providing to them. Their role has been changed from teacher to champions of change who is not only implementing the app but also moving towards from traditional learning to modern learning also the engaging community which is basically toughest job because the selected districts are remote areas and there is an accessibility issues but champions of change is trying to change the mindset of the community, promoting on social media and implementing the ed-tech in their classrooms where all kind of primary resources are available on SELD application and offline and online version are supported however it can be downloaded from Google play store.
