According to an autopsy report, a Multan woman died by hanging.

According to Syeda Sania Zehra’s autopsy report, which was made public, hanging is the cause of death and the ligature mark on her neck is compatible with hanging.
The hyoid bone was unharmed, and there were no outward indications of aggression or injury, according to the study. The PFSA has received samples taken from the spleen, liver, and stomach for additional examination. The woman was not pregnant when she passed away, according to the report.
A court had ordered the exhumation and collecting of post-mortem samples for a forensic report to investigate the alleged murder of religious leader Asad Shah’s daughter. On Saturday, police exhumed the body of Zehra, who was allegedly slain by her husband in Multan.
Sania’s father, Syed Asad Abbas Shah, asserted that her untimely death was a suspected murder rather than a suicide. He claimed that, in contrast to the crime scene, his daughter’s in-laws were passing off the suspected murder as a suicide.
Shah went on to say that his daughter was expecting a child and was a mother of two small boys, ages three and nine months, and he wondered how she managed to end her own life.
Munaza Butt, manager of the Violence Against Women Center in Multan, stated that she was present at Sania Zehra’s post-mortem and exhumation. They are currently awaiting the forensic report, she guaranteed, and all legal obligations had been met.
The woman may have committed suicide by hanging, according to the preliminary postmortem report, according to Multan City Police Officer Sadiq Ali Dogar.
The inquiry also turned up information on the woman’s history of suicidal thoughts and behaviors, including her marriage at the age of 14 and her brother’s suicide six months earlier.
To confirm the cause of death, the police are awaiting the forensic report from the PFSA laboratory. As a result of the woman’s father filing a complaint against his son-in-law and his family, the case was opened as a murder inquiry. The cops are still looking into the situation.
