The Institute for Research, Advocacy & Development (IRADA), in collaboration with the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), is offering a unique leadership training program for women journalists in Pakistan. This two-day workshop aims to empower women working in the media sector by strengthening their leadership, negotiation, and strategic decision-making skills while providing practical tools to navigate male-dominated newsrooms.

Why Women Journalists Need Leadership Training

Women journalists in Pakistan often face significant challenges, including limited access to decision-making positions, workplace safety concerns, and underrepresentation in leadership roles. This program addresses these gaps by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required to advance in their careers while building confidence and professional influence.

The Leadership Training for Women Journalists will cover:

Who Can Apply

This program is exclusive to women journalists residing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. IRADA will review all applications carefully, and selection will be based on eligibility, professional experience, and motivation. Completing the form does not guarantee selection, as seats are limited. Future trainings in other cities will be announced later.
