CJP Isa Emphasizes Women’s Role in Society Advancement and Justice

According to Pakistan’s Chief Justice (CJP), Qazi Faez Isa, without justice, no society can advance.  According to CJP Isa, it’s critical that women are represented in all fields. Speaking at the ‘Access to Justice for All’ seminar in Islamabad, he declared as much.

According to Justice Isa, women’s rights are guaranteed by the Pakistani Constitution. The CJ stated that women’s involvement in all sectors will be guaranteed and that new legislation can be passed to defend women’s rights.

He asserted that women’s protection in the workplace is guaranteed under the Constitution. He advocated for schooling for kids between the ages of five and sixteen. He went on to say that women perform better than men in the assembly when they had reserved seats. In addition, women are eligible for direct election.

According to the chief justice, women have rights in Islam because the Quran’s opening word, Iqra, does not distinguish between men and women. He claimed that both Islam and our legal system had a Qazf.

According to the CJ, men are likewise dissatisfied with the quota system for women. Women’s inheritance rights are a significant issue in our nation.

According to the chief justice, women now have a stake in inheritance under Islam. Four witnesses are required in Islam in order to establish adultery.

“Accusing or desecrating women is punishable by 80 lashes in the Quran,” he stated.
