Balochistan Adviser on Women’s Development Highlights Importance of Gender Parity Report

Adviser to Balochistan Chief Minister on Women’s Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, emphasized the significance of the gender parity report as a vital tool for planning women’s welfare, rights protection, and gender equality in the province.
Speaking during a meeting with UN Women Balochistan representatives Ayesha Wadood and Dawood Nangial, Dr. Buledi welcomed the report and its potential to guide policymaking. She reaffirmed the Balochistan government’s commitment to collaborate with international organisations like UN Women to launch effective programmes empowering women and addressing their challenges at the grassroots level.
Dr. Buledi assured that the Women’s Development Department is open to proposals and initiatives aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for women in education, health, employment, and protection, strengthening efforts toward lasting gender equality in Balochistan.
