Pakistan’s Ayesha Butt Wins Prestigious ‘Excellence in Performance Award 2025’
Pakistan’s SP Ayesha Butt has been honored with the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) ‘Excellence in Performance Award 2025,’ a prestigious global recognition that highlights her dedication and outstanding service in law enforcement. The Punjab Police announced the achievement on Wednesday, calling it a “source of pride” for the country.

The IAWP, an international organization with members from over 70 countries, aims to strengthen and empower women in policing through training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The award recognizes Butt’s exceptional contributions to law enforcement and her role as an inspiration for women in policing.
In an official letter, IAWP President Julia Jaeger praised Butt’s distinguished service and commitment to policing, stating:
“The IAWP is proud to honor your distinguished service and commitment to policing. On behalf of our members, the Board of Directors, and the Recognition Committee, congratulations on receiving this highly competitive global recognition.”
The award will be presented to SP Ayesha Butt at the IAWP’s 62nd annual conference in Glasgow this September.

Currently serving as the City Traffic Officer in Gujranwala, Butt’s success has been widely celebrated. Punjab Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated her, stating:
