Imran Khan reshuffles portfolios of members of the federal cabinet
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday reshuffled the portfolios of members of the federal cabinet. According to new appointments, Sheikh Rasheed is appointed as the Interior Minister.
In the early morning of Friday, SAPM Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has also srown in as minister for Finance. President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi administred the oath at a ceremony in Awan-e-Sadar.
The PM also appointed Ijaz Shah as the minister for narcotics control, earlier serving as minister for the state. The Prime Minister also changed the portfolio of Mr. Azam Swati as minister for Railways who was serving as head of narcotics control.
All the appointments were confirmed by Prime Minister’s office while Senator Faisal Javed, who is a close aide of PM Imran Khan.
Sheikh Rasheed has been given charge of the Interior Ministry, Ejaz Shah as the Minister for Narcotics Control and Azam Swati will hold portfolio of Railways. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh has taken oath as Federal Minister for Finance.
