Islamabad High Court suspended CDA’s request for cancelation Sir Syed Memorial rent

ISLAMABAD: At its booked knowing about the case Sir Syed Memorial Society versus CDA and others, the IHC suspended the activity of the two upbraided letters gave by CDA to the Sir Syed Memorial Society dropping the Society’s long term rent which was extendable for two further times of 33 years each without cause and without earlier notification and guiding the Society to empty the Sir Syed Memorial premises inside 24 hours.
The consultation was gone to by both the Society’s and CDA’s legal counselors.
Prior this powerless, CDA has fixed the Sir Syed Memorial Complex in area G-5/1 Islamabad on second of November. The progression has been taken after the choice of the authority not to broaden the rent time frame and drop the designation with prompt impact.
It is worth focusing on that this is the main Memorial for the sake of “Sir Syed Ahmed Khan” in Pakistan. The land was given to the Society in 1988 on a long term rent inexhaustible after at regular intervals to fabricate a Public Library, a Reading Room, a Museum and an Auditorium for public advantage to respect the memory of the late Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. The Memorial was worked by the Society with the guide of private and public gifts.
